🌿Why This Work Matters to Me

My passion for guiding individuals through career and life transitions is deeply personal.

I didn’t take a traditional path after high school. I entered the workforce, started a family, and built a career before returning to school. While raising four children and working full time, I pursued my education one class at a time — completing both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees over a thirteen-year journey.

That path gave me resilience, perspective, and pride. It also showed me how complex and costly education and career decisions can be when people don’t have full visibility into options such as employer-sponsored tuition reimbursement, workplace growth paths, and skills that support long-term success.

Over time, experience deepened my understanding of emotional intelligence, psychological safety, and workplace dynamics — insight that now informs how I guide others with clarity and care. Through my work in People & Culture and coaching, I help individuals build this awareness earlier, so they can move forward with confidence and intention.

This lived experience is what drives my commitment to helping people — especially young adults — navigate what comes next with awareness, purpose, and trust in themselves.
